About Project Princess Initiative (PPI)

Project Princess Initiative (PPI) is a local Christian based non-government organization fully registered under registration NO. S.5914/10113 and started its work in 2009. It was in that year when the founder Mrs. Fiona Mirembe Kiggundu who owned a pre- school was approached by two young Girls in search for employment opportunities in her school. Being with a passionate heart and more so a mother, Mrs. Fiona Kiggundu did not offer employment to these young Girls because they were teens still in high school but realized the need to empower them bearing in mind that there could be more other girls in a similar situation. The two Girls were welcomed as her own for counseling sessions at her school who later spread the message to their friends in schools they attended to and they met once in a while.
